OEM for now. Once I've paid it off I'll really get aggressive on the updates. Next December & no more car payments. Counting down the daysOriginally Posted by Frankieg35

Celebrated my 16th day of ownership by doing my first oil change, installing new air filters and cabin filter, and re-installing my newly repainted door trim panels.

ACIDJAKE helped me replace the radiator, OEM coolant, and OEM belts on my 6mt Sedan. You can see the OEM radiator where coolant was seeping from the top plastic tank and this is a known issue due to age. If you guys are ever buying a radiator make sure you verify your fan mounts. I have the slotted mount and you can see that from the video I took while the radiator was still attached to the car. They can either be round or slotted and if you get the wrong part you won't be happy. I spent plenty of time inspecting the mounts and comparing sizes at the store to ensure I had the correct part.

$150 at Pep Boys for Spectra radiator and $79 on Amazon. I would rather spend $79 and put $521 away for 5 more radiators instead of spending $600 on a single OEM radiator. Heck you would be better off going with a Koyo. I needed one ASAP and went with local for $150 from Pep Boys the same day

My OEM cracked and I needed one THAT DAY. Got one for $140 from carquest and been treating me fine ever since. Plan on getting a koyo soon tho. This plastic **** is not OK when it comes to cooling systems. Every time you run the car the rad runs thru a heat cycle that degrades the plastic.Originally Posted by faiz23

All rads used to be made of metal, and when manufacturers realized they weren't making money off longevity, they started making them out of crap parts that needed to be replaced every few years. Koyo for President. Haha
