its bec the light is wayyy too bright so it looks like all the light is only hitting the door but its only half the light. just checked it in the dark and it is way too bright. i already fixed it by adding 3 layers of light diffusing paper behind the lens. ill take a pic of the placement when i get home. there isnt much room to move the light

Changed out the transmission fluid on the 6mt, and bled fresh fluid thru the Brembos on Saturday.
Also looked at a couple ideas for the exhaust re-design that I'm planning. More room there than I expected.
Need to get the new accessory belts and underdrive pulleys on soon too.. damn squealing first thing in the a.m. leaving work gets way too much of the wrong attention. Need to figure out why it does that to start with.

i need to just change the pulleys and belts. never use that belt dressing.
tomorrow planning to first install my re-manned driver side window motor. then maybe work on the belts/pulleys.
i need to buy a wideband so I can log some runs on Osiris since the ecu on the 03 coupe doesn't retain a/f values for logging on Cipher. What is everyone using now? I've always used AEM, but there is Innovate, PLX..etc. Heard horror stories on all of them at some point.
Also possibly re-designing my exhaust this weekend to get rid of that ebay 2500rpm rasp.
once i get that sorted and a wideband installed, it's time to hit the dyno.

Although $200 for the corner rip repair sounds a bit high. Unless you had more rips on yours. I have the corner rip on mine since I bought the car, but now its really starting to bug me. Hopefully it'll be less than a $100 to fix.
Sometimes I also get the belt squeal on cold mornings or when the car hasn't been driven for a couple of weeks. Its a sign of loose/worn belts, so replacing them is the proper thing to do.
I've used lubricants to make the squeal go away but it comes back. I'll have to replace my belts in the near future.

Getting your seat fixed is definitely worth it, just make sure they do something about the sharp edges that cause the rip in the first place.. I got mine done and I noticed the leather rubbing on those sharp spots.. So i have to do something about mine.. But here is what my old seat looked like compared to a fixed one.. They are not the same seats, I got a new seat with a slight tear, got it fixed and replaced it..
