Changed the engine oil of my GS and this time around I went with the Mobil 1 instead of Castrol Edge, don't know if that was the best decision or not-lets see how she'll like the Mobil over the Edge! And I installed front strut bar!
Just Picked up this ram air intake on amazon to see if it was any good and very happy with the results. Sounds very satisfying. When I finish my winter mods ill do a full write up. (ready for incoming hate about how intakes don't do anything)
if anyone knows anywhere I can get a replacement radiator cooling plate or cover or whatever the F**k its called I need one. my car was raped by a deer not too far back and it cracked.
What's your first thoughts of it,I was looking at them but after that I just get some drop in K&N's and Mishimoto smooth Intake runners-it did made some improvements over my stock dirty filters and the stock intake runners!

No hate here, just a welcome ...........to double the heat soak that a first gen motor has. IMHO you should've gone with the R2C because it has 2 shrouds open at the front that seal the filters with the hood closed so all the air you get is coming in from the grill and front of the car. All your intakes are sucking in now is hot air from the engine bay.......

To be completely honest, I will probably consider swapping this one out for a CAI at some point but.... my butt dyno is very satisfied with how it changes the character of the car. Also with a price tag literally half of those other intakes (K&N, Injen, R2C) there is an argument to be made here for serious value.
I didn't see anyone on the forum try out this intake and with a price like that I figured Id take a gamble and save myself $200 that can go elsewhere in the car if it pays off. It doesn't look too dissimilar from the K&N intake (minus the heat shielding) and I figured I could do some DIY if I thought it was necessary.
I'm a kid about to head to engineering school so-- $200 means alot to me and after spending as much as I did on this car --meaningful mods on a budget are king
