Popping means unburned fuel combusting in the exhaust system somewhere. Makes sense if your A/F sensors crapped out, see if your OBD2 scanner has a real-time graphing option and watch the sensor 1 bank 2 data to make sure it's cycling properly (watch a youtube video if you're not sure what an O2 sensor data should look like).

If you do have to replace the sensor, which is likely, I strongly recommend you do both banks at the same time. Yeah it's a little spendy, they're probably both on the way out though and an O2 sensor only sends accurate readings for about 100k before they go through their death cycle which can last ANOTHER 100k sometimes, during which they send slightly incorrect data back to the ECU until something finally melts inside and the ECU sees an open/shorted circuit and throws the CEL at you.

Well you need to troubleshoot it with a real-time scanner to verify.

Drove her to cars and coffee. On the way back I stopped at a FoodLion to grab some brews and sunscreen for a pool day, and ran into this gem. I have never seen a red Nismo GTR... actually I didn't even know they existed. 1 of 6 in the US, and 1 of 3 for 2016. Stupid rare. Dude is a doctor, super nice guy. Motivation for sure.

What many people don't realize is that that is completely normal in many parts of the country after enough years.

I think I'm going to have to do exactly that. I usually go to the dealer for work I don't want to do/don't have the tools for, but that would be a very expensive option here. Time to look for an exhaust shop...
