I think he meant winter tires. I've never heard of winter wheels.... Doesn't mean they don't exist though !
I suspect your wheel bearings are fine. How much work is involved in changing them ? I don't know if they're the press-on type or simply bolt on. If it's easy, I'd put the old ones back on and save the new ones until you really need them. They are wear items so they'll need replaced eventually but why not get the most life out of them that you can ?

Headlight restore
i searched and didnt find one of these threads so i thought i would post it up! like the title says, what did you do to the G today? give a short description and pix!
yesterday i took off the lettering on the back and just left the emblem and tomorrow im polishing the headlights.

My car has 112K miles on it right now so the bearings could use a refresh. These new ones will probably last me longer than I'll be owning the car...so its worth it to me.
If anyone in the LA area wants my old bearings, they can come pick em up for free.
