I had Caesar at Lightwerkz Test amperage of MLED vs D2S 4.0 speedy start ballasts and I was disappointed. LED isn't much more efficient at higher output.

Thanks for that information. Means I don't really have to change my setup if it's not offering any real. Gains. Guess they'll be for sale soon lol

Nice looking G Eaz! Are those bumper quick disconnects just for looks or do they actually make it easier to get the bumper off? I like how they look and wouldn't mind being able to drop the bumper easily.
Ed, could it be that the old rubber is just squished from being on the car for so long? I installed KYB struts front and rear a couple months ago and I managed to install all the new mounting hardware. I remember having a similar problem, and I either cut the mounts to size or just forced them on with brute strength and tightened the top nut. Also, I'm jealous of how clean your suspension components are, I've never owned a car where they weren't covered in grease, rust, and years worth of accumulated PB blaster...
Today I finally got around to taking the RH engine mount/bracket off in anticipation of the arrival of the last tool I need to break the top nut on the driver's side... Just to find this after my second broken engine mount fell out and spilled fluid everywhere. It's not rusted through, it just cracked all around the lower engine mount mounting nut... They should have made it thicker from the factory. I bet you anything this is the passenger side clunk I've been searching for ever since I rebuilt the front end of my car.
The piece that's missing fits right back in like a puzzle so I'm just going to JB weld it back into place and use a peice of sheet steel to sandwich the mount in and spread the stress away from the JB welded area.... And yes I've already removed that rust and blasted it with converter
Oh, I also wrapped the formerly-terrible looking door pulls... Should have done this the day I bought the car.

Thanks, it's vvivid XPO matte gunmetal, it's cheap and seems to be good quality although I haven't used anything else.
I added some carbon fiber accents on the upper trim, hazard button, and shiftier bezel. Has anyone found touch up paint that matches the original silver? I tried wrapping the lower console gunmetal but I couldn't get it perfect so I decided to keep it OE... I like the two-tone look anyway, opinions?
Pardon the mess, the car's been on jacks for 2 weeks with no incentive to clean it.
Somebody take this heat gun away from me, I can't stop!

Well its been over a week now since I got my new headlights. I already had some ballasts so I ordered some HID bulbs from DDMTuning. Placed the order on July 29th and for the last 9 days the tracking status has remained the same...."Origin post is preparing shipment". I contacted DDM and they said yup...looks like its taking a delay. I'm not sure if DDM is responsible or if its the post office. But anyway, Ima wait one more day and demand they send me a new package with expedited shipping.
