Replace your starter with a rock auto $80 replacement. It's made my G sound fast again with it's startup sound... I really like it.

As for revised cam sensors - interesting!

Test fitted these bi led projectors into my test lights. They fit nice with no trimming for the projector, the shroud might need a little trimming but that's nothing major. The real question is do I redo my lights or just sell these for profit

Car was dead, so had to pay local auto store prices. Luckily the one in my neighborhood had a starter in stock. She's on the road again! Plans to buy a Q60RS are thwarted yet again, rats.

Morimoto ones are testing well. I'm surprised you will go with LED considering how often you upgrade.

I had Caesar at Lightwerkz Test amperage of MLED vs D2S 4.0 speedy start ballasts and I was disappointed. LED isn't much more efficient at higher output.

Thanks for that information. Means I don't really have to change my setup if it's not offering any real. Gains. Guess they'll be for sale soon lol

Cleaned the g up today before I headed to work. Finally complied a list of things that needs to be done and it's not to bad.

New bumper (have one)
Lower control arms (have em)
New knock sensor and harness (on the way)
New plugs
Brakes and rotors (have em)

All and all not to shabby

Nice looking G Eaz! Are those bumper quick disconnects just for looks or do they actually make it easier to get the bumper off? I like how they look and wouldn't mind being able to drop the bumper easily.

Ed, could it be that the old rubber is just squished from being on the car for so long? I installed KYB struts front and rear a couple months ago and I managed to install all the new mounting hardware. I remember having a similar problem, and I either cut the mounts to size or just forced them on with brute strength and tightened the top nut. Also, I'm jealous of how clean your suspension components are, I've never owned a car where they weren't covered in grease, rust, and years worth of accumulated PB blaster...

Today I finally got around to taking the RH engine mount/bracket off in anticipation of the arrival of the last tool I need to break the top nut on the driver's side... Just to find this after my second broken engine mount fell out and spilled fluid everywhere. It's not rusted through, it just cracked all around the lower engine mount mounting nut... They should have made it thicker from the factory. I bet you anything this is the passenger side clunk I've been searching for ever since I rebuilt the front end of my car.

The piece that's missing fits right back in like a puzzle so I'm just going to JB weld it back into place and use a peice of sheet steel to sandwich the mount in and spread the stress away from the JB welded area.... And yes I've already removed that rust and blasted it with converter

Oh, I also wrapped the formerly-terrible looking door pulls... Should have done this the day I bought the car.
