Had my Nissan tech buddy put some new tranny fluid (OEM Nissan MTF) and new diff fluid in (Pennzoil 80w-90). Transmission feels so much better, I don't think it had ever been changed in the 130k miles the car has been run. While she was in the air, he noticed that the rear tires are BARELY starting to show chords, so that's on order. While the tires are off, he is going to rebuild my wheels for me to keep them from leaking. That's money I wasn't planning on spending, but it's necessary.

If they're leaking you should be good by just removing the old sealant as best you can and running a new bead of silicone/sealant back on. One of mine were leaking from where the barrels met and that sorted it out, no need to separate the barrels or rebuild wheels.

I actually have another one leaking now. A not so good tire tech managed to damage the silicone seal whilst changing one of the rear tires... So I'll be doing the same sealing job on that in the coming weeks.

Installed ART pipes on the stock exhaust - sounds like a 16 year old driving around with all the raspiness lol. Can't wait for the exhaust to arrive.

Had Discount Tire install (3) TPMS sensors in hopes of resolving slow leaks. One was replaced a few weeks ago by them when they were trying to solve the leak on the tire that was losing air faster than the others but they were unable to remove the sensor (stem) - broke it trying to. Turns out the aluminum composition of the sensor hardware doesn't play well in the areas with road salt, etc. I don't think this was bull**** on their part either because I watched them have to BEAT the other stems out of the remaining wheels as they were so badly corroded.

They also clean (light grinding to remove any corrosion) the rims and balance the wheels/tires. $21 per wheel is their charge when I supplied the sensors. If they supply them, it's $65 per wheel.

I bought VDO SE1001HP sensors, FWIW.

So...
A few weeks ago I had an issue with my idle going up and down and my muffler will make little pops very minor
When I down shifted it make little medium pops which I liked..
I ran 2 full tanks of gas with fuel cleaner and after everything got fixed and it wont do those small pops anymore when I downshifted..

NOW... the codes came up and the cars back how it used to be the idle going up and down... I don't mind the downshift popping kind of like it now :]

Is my car possessed?
