What did you do to the G today?

If I recall correctly the official word from Infiniti (somewhere but I cannot say where) is that when the light comes on, you have three gallons left.
My fuel level was down to around 3/8 of a tank when I added some fuel-injector cleaner. They say to add it when the level is low and leave it in as long as you can. It was an 8 oz bottle but I could actually "feel" a difference in how the engine was running (worse, by the way). I almost always use premium but a couple times I have put regular in it just from habit (never had a car that used premium before) and can feel a very slight decline with regular but with this cleaner, it was worse.
Just got back from the gas station after filling up with premium. To make some jealous, it cost $3.39/gallon....

Installed a stillen intake with a z-tube on my 06 G35x, definitely a fan of it. Saw afterwards that it’s recommended to disconnect the negative battery cable, which I didn’t do... even though it’s unlikely I’m hoping I don’t get a CEL now

Maybe for you but when I swapped the 3.5 diff in years ago my highway mileage slipped dramatically. Because the G's pushing 3200 RPM's at 80 these days we'd be lucky to get a touch over 80 miles with 4 gallons. The GTO runs at 1750 RPMs at 80 in 6th gear and consistently gets 24 all day long.

^File a claim with your local municipality to recover the cost of replacement. I know of several people in different parts of the US who have done so successfully. If you get nothing all you're out is a bit of your time.
Yep, in my area all you have to do is file the complaint with either the city or the county, use that picture as well as a copy of the invoice from the tire shop for the total cost of repairs. I've done it a few times over the years and have always just gotten a check from the county/city for their set rate for damage, it's only like $75 per wheel/tire damaged here but it's something.
i have always heard of that but never really knew what to do.
Ive broken rims and bent them too i always fixed them out of pocket
235-35-19 pilot sport is $235.... plus tax and installation
$75 is better than nothing ill start looking into this

I'm guessing io fo 245 35 19?
245/40/19 is stock size for rear 8.5 and 225/40 is standard size for 8" rim. Looks like OEM 19.
