What did you do to the G today?
#9378
Big week for my G getting her inspected and ready for another 6 months of daily winter commuting with limited tools/garage access.
Went to the exhaust shop, got the mufflers on my HKS replica swapped out for some slightly larger volume straight through canisters and replaced my completed destroyed flex pipes. My exhaust is now (finally) quiet enough for me when driving around normally and cruising on the highway...
And then I started a new project. More to come.

idk what’s been up with outcast garage and just keeping people updated I know I had to cancel two orders because it took so damn long for shipping. I waited a month for a furookie intake before getting any word that it still hadn’t shipped.

Made some more progress on the retrofitted OEM headlights. All aligned, just gotta seal 'em up and get the LED turn signals and RGB halos wired up properly so I can control them from inside the car. The RGBs are wired to the parking lights (now running lights).
Aligned light output from a pair of $50 TRS Acme Super mini H1 bixenon projectors, TRS Acme 4300k HIDs, and cheap 35W ballasts. In case you can't tell in the pictures, there isn't a single imperfection in the cutoff or blue shift in either of the projectors. The color flicker when passing by the car is amazing!
Curious to how the output compares to the OEM '06 projectors. I could be wrong but I bet these are better!

Swapped out all of my hoses for Z1 hoses.
Swapped out our OEM Radiator for Mishimoto.
Performed a super coolant flush and flushed my oil.
Performed a very light detail since its cold in Maryland.
Installed a new O2 Upstream Sensor since I was under.
Installed a new lightweight battery for the summer season.
And just currently perplexed if Im missing two hoses for my oil cooler pan that sync with my new radiator - after learning they werent in my Z1 Master Hose Kit; unless they are with their shapes being different.

Currently standing by for Z1s response pic 2.

How much of a pain was it to install? Did you have to remove things to access the hoses and how many of the hoses have liquid in them that would leak when disconnected?
I would love to do this as well.
