Swapped the slave cylinder and installed Z1 stainless clutch line. I thought my motor mounts were shot because of how jumpy/bouncy the car felt after shifting into the next gear. Nope, just a completely worn out slave cylinder and/or clutch line. letting off the clutch when getting into gear is buttery smooth again.
Also, don't be an idiot like me and not check on the position of the pedal when bleeding the system (if using a pressure/vacuum bleeder). It sunk to the floor, so when I bled it, there was still air trapped in there. That was a surprise after sitting at the stop sign leaving my apartment complex and loosing clutch pedal pressure.
Dropped the tranny to install a machine balanced ebay 19 lb flywheel and z1 mild street clutch kit, as well as RMS and upper oil pan seal...
The 130k dual mass was completely toast and had tons of rotational and axial play, but turns out my old PP was a $700 ACT HD which still looks good!
engine is nice and smooth now even with full poly mounts, and I have less gear rattle than with the old shot DMF. Shifting is way smoother, and I can't get 5th to grind anymore for some reason.
Nice perceived power boost especially low RPM acceleration in 6th on the hwy!

Fun fact: this gatorade has been in my car for easily over 2 years. I refuse to throw it out until something bad happens. It's a superstition at this point

if its sitting for 2 years now it makes a good engine degreaser. :-)
@Edgarc6789 wierd, it even had some kind of locking nut on it?? If you're worried about them coming loose again in the future you can always take a small flat blade screwdriver and stake the locking end of those nuts, makes them a little harder to remove in the future but they definitely won't be wiggling loose.
I'm thinking when I drove it up my friends trailor i must of hit and gotten loose? I remember hearing a smack and the other band next to it was moved a bit.
its been a little over 1 year there perfect other than the small curb rash o one but it didnt flake or peel off. Did they fix your rims?
The other 3 are fine. Its just the one thats peeling. I called the shop and he said to bring it in and they will take care of it....so I'll drop it off one of these days.
Took a picture of the G in her winter attire...still catches my eye after all these years when I walk out to her. Can’t wait to get the snows off and the summers on though.
Yeah I can't wait to get the snow off mine too, fml it just won't stop F'n snowing over here... I've never seen snow this bad late in the winter season. I stopped trying to keep the G cleared off because it's a battle I can't win. Somewhere under there is my precious.
Damn, the coldest it's been here at the house all winter was 34*. Pretty unusual for us not to get below freezing at all, I guess global warming IS a thing at least here in south Tx lol.
