I don't know how else it would not illuminate the flat tire light on the dash, unless the light has been damaged and doesn't work. That's easy to check during the key ON lamp test though.
Well I dropped the pressure down to 17psi and drove around the city for about 15 minutes. TPMS light did not come on! I have no idea why.

Finally got to wash the car today, warmed up to 33 degrees F and there's only about 12" of snow on the ground right now so BATH TIME!

Yup, the light comes on for a moment when starting the car.

My summer wheel setup has new sensors that I never had registered to the car. TPMS never lights up during short 15 minute city trips for me, only after something like 30 miles highway driving. I think I even read in the manual or somewhere that was how the TPMS works.

I think a TPMS system that takes 30 miles or minutes to warn of pressure loss is worthless.

The manual reads:

If the vehicle is being driven at speeds of less than 16 MPH (25 km/h), the TPMS may not operate correctly.

Had my car on the lift to replace a bulb and when I went to start it up it made a horrible grinding noise and barely turned over, but started. Wouldn't start again, nothing. The perfect time for my starter to fail, really, I can't imagine how many situations I've been in with the G where I would have been hosed if I couldn't always rely on it to start right up!

TRS replaced the $10 4300K H1 HID shipped to me for free, the new one's light output is just as perfect as the last. We'll see how long this one lasts with the 55W! Other light's still running 35W for a single sample reliability test.

It was on the way home from work and heated, and not being used for anything else. Figured I'd inspect the suspension as it's been awhile.

Put the splash shield back on to hold up the kuruma z bumper that scrapes everywhere at stock height. Had to drill into the bumper to mount it.

Before

After
