Went with the oem projector HIDs to replace the 04 reflector HID. Light output is great. Tried to get a decent pic of the cutoff, Wasn’t the best spot for it but anyway. On to the pics.
So my tail light tint I did the other day has already started peeling back at the edges. It reminded me what a pain in the aśś vinyl is.
at the hobby store they sell something called “smoke grey model paint” comes in aerosol form. A friend of mine turned me onto it. I smoked my tail lights on my truck by just passing a couple layers over them. It’s been like 10 years and they never faded.... I’ll hit him up and ask him exactly what it was, shoot me a PM and I’ll pass the info on when he gets back to me
And distracted drivers goes both ways. I am so fricking tired of not being able to get through a green turn arrow phase because three clowns in the line ahead can't wake up from looking at their phones to push the G D gas pedal and GOOOOOOOOO. Jeez.

Have you driven the car since doing this work ? You'll know if you need to bleed the system better ! If it's working okay, you're good to go.
Car is braking fine. Firmer brake pedal than before I changed the calipers, could have been some air is the system. I'm either going to wait till it quits raining/high humidity around here and then do a "by the manual" bleed procedure just to get the rest of the old fluid out of the system or wait until I buy stainless brake hoses and do it when I put them on.

Thanks...will keep that in mind. I actually bought some more vinyl tint to give it another try. Im gonna use some edge sealer around the edges before I fold them over this time. I think it should work.
Test fitted the 19s and I like the contrast, still deciding what color I want for the akebonos.
All that's left is to put the Swifts on but I'm waiting on new struts to arrive, might as well start fresh.
I would go with a dark gold or brass for the calipers. Any other color would be too much contrast between 3 different colors in my opinion. Same with the lugnuts.... get em painted.

I think JZ's on to something and to expand on his theory I vote to match the calipers to the car's paint. Also I originally wasn't a fan of the wheels at first glance but they tie in with the OEM corner marker lights and it changed my mind. Looks good IMO. This is one time I would really recommend not installing the clear corners.

Reall digging the color match idea, and I never noticed thy wheels coordinating with the marker lights. Good eye lol
Ughhh.... was doing a little driveway remodeling so I had all the cars scattered around in the grass areas around the edge of the driveway. Didn't even realize I parked the G under a GD maple tree until right now when I pulled it back into it's new parking spot.
