FML this is going to take hours to clean up tommorow >.< little sap spots EVERYWHERE.
Best thing I have found to remove tree sap is WalMart hand sanitizer. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-Ha...BoClo8QAvD_BwE

135 MPH in the middle of nowhere.

Now I'm going to go do a road force balance and feel the difference.

This is a "What have I done to my G35 since I bought it 3-9", post.
New a-f, cleaned MAF(CRC MAF cleaner)...
Both new belts...
Changed oil(GC 0W-40) & filter(Puro BOSS)...
New front lca(yes, the FSM calls them TV links, the Infiniti dealership calls them lca's...go figure) bushings and alignment...
New spark plugs, NGK Iridiums, sprayed CRC intake cleaner into plenum thru PCV inlet, then thru TB after starting the engine...
Changed trans gear oil, AMSOIL 75W-90 GL-4, and diff gear oil, AMSOIL 75W-90 GL-5. Diff drain plug had what appears to be the "normal" heavy, black gunk coating.
New PCV Valve, hoses "looked good(no cracking or brittleness)/clean", inside and out(not cheaping-out, just no need to replace if not deteriorating).
Also got a "real" Infiniti key and FOB/remote.

So for now, that is all.

I appreciate the knowledge shared here... you people do a nice "job" of sharing.

I finally looked into how to get rid of the drone from my HKS rep. Wouldn't you know the forum already figured this out! Ordered the Magnaflow 11386. This has been long overdue. $125 after tax one day shipping through amazon.

It worked but it was still a LOT of work. Hopefully I never have to do it again.

So is your G a coupe or sedan and a 35 or 37? Did you remove the 8" extension and cut the other length out and clamp it in or have a shop do it and weld it in? I have the HKS knockoff my self and really like it but does get a little droney at certain loads.

G35 coupe, this used to be an HKS rep exhaust before every component was replaced at a muffler shop. The 11386 is after the flex pipes replacing the Chinese "resonators". It made the exhaust 100% better and livable for a highway daily, but I wanted more quiet, so I upgraded the China mufflers to larger volume straight through China mufflers branded "totalflow" for $30 a side plus $100 labor including welding in new flex pipes. Sounds nice and quiet unless WOT, but deeper and throatier than stock at all RPMs. No highway drone to speak of, at least compared to the original HKS rep.
