Thanks FreshLikeAG!

Only thing I’ll be doing to the red lens is give it a nice sanding as it has a few scratches here and there. The matte black housing gives the outer red lens a nice dark almost cherry like color that looks incredible. Here’s a mock-up I did with the halos before I painted the housings.

**I still need to clean up some material from inside the red lens where I cut it open with the dremel as well **

Wow that's coming out great! I've ordered about a dozen samples of wrap and this was one of the colors I was looking at. I'll be giving this a go hopefully by the end of summer, still undecided on the color tho but this one is a top 5 for sure!

I knew it would be a lot of work, but nowhere near the amount I have put in so far. It's good to have a project with all this time off though. Just consider the amount of work.

Had the fight of my life yesterday getting the 06 spoiler off the trunk. The amount of double sided tape is insane. Not much info online. The fsm has 4 steps but the diagram helped show the clip locations. Took at least two hours. Cracked the spoiler on the final pull
Probably gonna fill it and just paint it black because it can't be wrapped in one piece. Same with the mirrors

Stuck in the house for 14 days so decided to tear my headlights apart and mod them. Had some parts laying around from a few previous builds. Now to sand the lenses and buff them out a bit

"fixed" my rattling catalytic converter, glad I caught it with the catalyst still in once piece.... Still haven't been able to pull the transmission out for rebuild, but it's coming this week.

Well its final! All the pics I had taken to create a DIY for recovering my dash with vinyl are gone. I had em on a laptop and it crashed. Was hoping I could get it to boot up again but nothing worked. I had to reinstall windows and that wiped everything in there.

Turns out my initial diagnosis was close, but it was the 5-6 internal shifter ROD that cracked, the fork was fine.

Rod broke right on a 90 degree chamfer... Shoulda watched those stress concentrations when designing it

Had a set of Akebonos sitting around and decided to paint them a nice yellow. Hardest part was placing the decals on the calipers as perfectly as possible 😅
