Broke the bleeder behind the intake. Ran to local junkyard and began the painful process of bleeding this thing.
Got suspension all swapped out, just needs an alignment now and it's ready for a new driver.
Annoyingly, new ball joints didn't come with new seats and couldn't reuse old ones. Emergency trip to Nissan and crisis averted.
Took my coupe out of storage on Saturday; it felt great to be driving it again. I also took a chance on an XM satellite radio module from a "2012 Infiniti" that I got off Ebay for $25. I had a lot of reception issues with the Sirius module I got last year, even after swapping in a new antenna splitter and finding a new old-school OEM antenna. I had read that the 28051-EH00B part might work on the older cars, and the connector appeared to be the same so I figured I'd give it a shot. Of course I forgot to get a new antenna adapter - the new module uses a single purple FAKRA plug. I thought this experiment would be delayed but then noticed the white connector, while not keyed exactly the same as the purple one, would allow them to connect. I turned the car on and it picked up the preview channel instantly. Then I had SiriusXM send a refresh signal, and five minutes later I had all of the channels. The new module tunes in stations so much faster, and so far the signal only dropped once (and tuned back in quickly). Now I just need to find a bracket and screws that fit.

This is good information. You should post it to the audio sub-forum.
finally put my projector headlight on, new bulb, new ballast, repainted housing ..... looking much better than stock..
too bad my retrofit project is a failure
Thought I had my valve cover gasket fixed, took my 04 coupe 6mt for a joyride just to be greeted with smoke and a new coating of oil on pretty much everything on the passenger side of my engine bay when I returned home.
Decided it was time for a suspension upgrade. Of course a rear lower strut bolt broke cause it was seized to the metal sleeve in the bushing. Had to cut it and press the bushing out. Gonna finish up the fronts today. Went with Tein Flex Z
Found a good deal on some stock G35 Rays and sold the Nismo Z wheels. Got the coolant bled finally. Pretty happy with how the headlights came out now that I got a pic. Came full circle to how it looked about 8 years ago.

looks sharp man. Bleeding the good ol VQ is a b!tch ain't it? Haha we replaced all coolant hoses with z1 last month and it took forever to bleed everything even with new z1 bleeder port.
Finally got some new spark plugs and a MD plenum spacer. A few of my spark plug wells had a pool of oil in them due to the infamous leaking valve covers. I just removed the spark plugs and let the oil drain into the cylinders. Fuggit!!! It’ll burn off. Installed everything but didnt have time to start the car. I’ll do that tomorrow....I think it should be fine. I hope I can feel this extra midrange power everyone talks about with this spacer.
The next day I started the car and it was misfiring like śhit. I figured its all the oil that got dumped into the cylinder. Probably soaked my spark plugs and just needs to burn off. So I took the car around the block and it didnt get any better. Check engine light came on, so I used my cheapo scanner and it pulled up P0300....misfire!
So now Im thinkin, crap! Gotta remove all the coild and plugs and clean them off and reinstall them. So I figured if I can have it scanned at an auto parts store, they have better scanners and it might tell me which cylinder has the misfire. So I slowly drove the car over to a local auto parts store about 5 mins away and they used the same scanner I had loll. Pulled up the same code...no help! So I decided to drive to autozone about 2 more blocks down. I know they have good scanners. But even autozone only picked up the P0300 code. Damn! Lugged the car back home again to start tearing it up again.
I start taking off my intake and thats when I noticed....I had my #4 and #6 coil wires mixed up
