G35 Coupe
Today I pulled the 1st of the final parts of my front splitter out of the mold. A few minor imperfections that need to be fixed, but the V-twill joint in particular came out awesome and perfectly in the middle. Very excited to have this thing done within the next couple of week. Only weird part is it looks almost out of place when I put it up against the nismo bumper on the G. The 4x4 twill looks super exotic in person, so it's almost like putting a part for a Zonda onto a Nissan. Too exotic for the G maybe??

Also need to decide on gloss or satin clear....leaning towards gloss right now.

04.5 G35 Sedan 5AT
Finally installed my transmission and power steering cooler setup. Been slowly collecting parts over the past few weeks.
My car is a 04 5at with no packages, so no factory p/s cooler. The cooler is a Derale p/n 15331, and has -8an fittings. I didn't want blue fittings, only choice in stock for -8an to 5/16" barb from Summit. It's an awkwardly long cooler, so I had to get -8an 90* fittings so the soft lines wouldn't kink.
I relocated my horns to the driver side upper portion of the core support. I used some rivnuts to bolt them and all the alum flat bar to the core support. I wanted it on the passenger side in case I ever want to add engine oil cooler, since looks like most mount on the driver side.
Thus far my trans temps have dropped about 20*. When pushing the car in the canyons the trans would get to over 230* (according to Datascan), yesterday the highest temp I saw was 216*. Also, my power steering is now much more consistent. Steering used to get very soft on long drives.

Looking good! Don't change a thing.

Swapped input and axle flanges from my 150k 3.5 diff to a 50k 3.69 VLSD out of an auto sedan. Had to grind material from the 6mt flange and the 3.69's input shaft but all and all pretty straightforward, worth the $300 I saved over buying the correct diff in the first place.

Also ran into the first bolt my little $100 Chinese 1/2 brushless impact couldn't rip out was the differential ear bolts. Suspension bolts, lug/spacer nuts, differential pinion nut, no problems. Very satisfied with Enarco branded product.

Everyone likes the 2006/2007 OEM projector headlights but they can be pricy. I think they look a little outdated.

Other popular options are Spec-D headlights (These are nice!).
Or the Anzo headlights in either a black finish or chrome. U have two options. I have the chrome version on my car.
