Just got the g back from the shop after 5 weeks. I installed my new mishimoto weighted shift **** and it's great! It makes shifting with a short shifter much smoother. Also did a headlight restoration with the turtle wax kit. Very unimpressed. Oh well, what can you expect for $10. Probably gonna watch Chris fix's video again and do it without a kit. These are the first of hopefully many things to come!
Finally was able to fix some things.
I was losing about a cup of oil (1/4 quart) every 500 miles and making a mess of my underside. EWWWW.
Replaced both main seals, pump orings, resealed upper oil pan, installed lower pan spacer. Replaced engine and tranny mounts (ended up doing urethane) one was on its way out. Went with Z1 street + midweight fly because I was in ATL during their holiday sales last year and I had a bonus check which flew out of my wallet so fast, so furious.
Also installed a short shifter.
Going a little bananas driving like a normal person during break-in, but the new stuff feels 10000% better than the old heavy oe stuff (and singing TOB) and my underside is now just dirty, not oily and dirty!
Well over 1000 small vinyl stickers, a stripe of 3M colorshift vinyl and of course the Motordyne emblem that came with my MREV2 & 5/16 spacer with a hot b***h over it. All clearcoated with 4 or 5 layers of 2K clear glamor.

CZP lowered the coupe exhaust to $950 all-in. I had always been on the fence about buying one and that made me finally pull the trigger. I know it's not the most popular exhaust around here, but I'm more concerned about the sound than a few hp gain. Most of the other exhausts I find to be too raspy.
Finally got my new tires mount and balanced , Front are 235 40 19 and Rear are 275 35 19..... Tires are Federal ST-1..... and it kinda solve my VDC freak out issue too

DAMN that honda looks so similar to a G coupe, what kit you running?
Resealed the spark plug tube seals with Ultra Gray.
Finished replacing the plugs with NGK Iridiums (what started this whole mess)
Cleaned parts that were removed: both halves of the upper intake manifold, valve covers, and PCV valve (although I didn’t touch the TB)
Replaced PCV hoses with the Z1 silicone set.
New air filter.
After I was done the car fired right up; nice and smooth, no codes thrown. I was careful not no touch the valve in the TB and got away without having to do the relearn.
Woke up early this morning, took my new Borla exhaust out of the box, then put it right back in and emailed CZP.

Dang they really forgot to put 1 of the mid pipes in the box??

After I noticed that resonator was missing I went and checked the box more carefully. Sure enough the bottom of the box had some tape on it and the staples appear to have been pulled through the inner flap.It appears that maybe it didn't come from the factory that way.
Also when I moved it out of the garage this morning for a wash, the SES light was on. I'll do the relearn procedures later. Looks like I'll be buying a code reader finally.
