Odd squeaking sound turned out to be my rear brake pads are worn down to the squealers. Used an Old Indian Trick to fix it.

Looks like I'm doing brakes again soon

Are there any stats on how the numbers change when people do these swaps? How much more torque? Difference in 0-60 times? How much reduction in top speed?

I would be interested in doing this too but I do a lot of freeway driving and I wouldnt wanna be at 4K RPMs the whole time when Im goin 80.

Engine output remains the same regardless of gearing so torque would be unaffected.

I have one of those too, an old thread I saw mentioned there was some cutting or grinding involved. One of the reasons I haven't gotten to it yet.

Going from a 3.5 to a 3.69 increases your RPMs by like 150 in every gear, it's not THAT significant.

Car season's back on in Maine. Autocross and spirited mountain cruises start mid June. Time to prep!

Pulled the front suspension apart chasing a clunk and found that the ball joint on the Mevotech Supreme compression rod I installed 45k miles ago had lots of play. Ordered two new Moog compression arms to replace it and the Mevotech on the other side that's now due to fail within the next 10k miles....

Bled the clutch with some synthetic DOT4 fluid and immediately noticed my clutch doesn't sink when I'm driving around in second gear beating on it anymore, so that's good.

Also noticed on one of my front calipers only one of the pads was wearing.... I rotated the pads in the caliper should be good for another 20k....

Oh, I pulled the trigger on a Zex single nozzle wet nitrous kit with two 10 lb bottles, got $850 worth of new in box nitrous stuff for $350.
Going to run a 50-75 shot max to try and keep my motor in once piece since I want to be able to spray through 5th gear on the highway and have plenty of boost time before needing to refill. Anyone else here on the bottle? Looking for pics of setups, especially those with two 10 lb bottles

Since my car is waiting for an axle I decided to finish a few things up. Hit my headlights with some 2k clear and finally painted my sport bumper.
