@TokkioDrift The ducts are routed to the front bumper. Basically the route is like this: flexible duct from bumper -> carbon duct through wheel well plastic -> flexible duct around shock body -> carbon duct into backside of rotors. Right now the inlet flexible duct has no funnel on it, but I do have something in mind to put right behind the bumper to help funnel that incoming air. I'd like to make something that separates air in a nice and clean way into the radiator and into the brake flexible duct on both sides of the bumper. However to do that well I think I need to do some modeling and then 3d printing first. Something to play with in the new year I suppose.
thinking of something like this:
So I don't know much about ceramic coating. My calipers are powder coated and i'm really hoping they won't brown or fade in color once they get properly heat cycled. My understanding is that ceramic coating is supposed to be more heat resistant, but I don't see many options for gloss colors, just mate sort of finish (Cerakote?). Are there options available that are gloss?

@Row2k thanks for explaining your ducts, they make sense. I like your idea of the air diverter. Seriously cool stuff.
Also drooling over the close up of the glass on that weave.
And d'oh..you are right. I actually meant i am going to powder coat my calipers, not ceramic. Just overly excited about powder coating stuff, ha.
Reunited with my G 2 days ago, after replace ballast and ignitor, install a new thermostat / coolant , give up a detailed wash and clean, off to the boats tomorrow, see you at SC soon
It's much more fun and happy to drive than my xb LOL
Finally found a MT center console in a yard 2 hours away. Pulled it and grabbed an extra shifter cover/boot assem all for only $20! Handbrake didn't quite line up thanks to my amazing DIY install during the trans swap. However, after removing the boot and trimming off the lip the boot rest on, it popped on. Not quite as pretty as the AT console, but it's a worthy sacrifice.
So my G35 is actually my 18 year old sons car. So what did he do to his car...yup...i know...but installed his under-glow lights (why he wanted them IDK but its his money his car). Colors can be changed and even will flash to his music...ugh..

Bought a new stove and moved the old one to the porch for car related related 'activities'.
Have been powder coating random things to get the hang of it. The G is on stands so I can rebuild and powdercoat the brembos, replace the lines and hardware/pads, and install the new z1 2 piece sprinkle slotted rotors I picked up over the holidays. Will probably let her stay on stands so I can install the rebuilt KW v2 coilovers and adjustable used SPL parts that are currently under my bed. Excited to get moving on this car again.
