Radar Detector

Hey I'm looking for a fairly decent radar detector, I've got a friend with an escort x50. Let me know if you have anything you are looking to sell, not to expensive.

All i can say is dont buy a cheap one. If you want a good one, get the valentine one. Cant go wrong w/ that one.

I have 9200ix and i like it for in the city driving as it tells me where speed cameras are. My friend has a V1 and it's pretty cool too.

Yes, I hear good things about the range for the escort x50 and also good things about the valentine one but that is a little too much for me

Why dont you save up for a bit? Put $20-50 bucks away from your paycheck.

I would look here for a well rated one that isn't too expensive.

You should be able to get a decent one for less than $100 which would give you the biggest bang for your buck. If you want an excellent one then it could go well over $400. They aren't that big of a help because once the cop shoots his radar at you and the detector detects it, he already knows how fast you're going. I only like it because if you're going a little over it will just inform you to slow down a little. Also, if you're going to pass someone it's nice to have the detector keep an eye out for you. When driving at night they're useful too because you can't see cops until you get up close. But really they won't save you if you like to go very fast. Make sure the one you get can detect cops behind you as well.
