absolutely agree with ya on this joker,
so many small towns just need the cash so they are hardcore on enforcement beyond reasons, and everywhere else in big cities they don't so much promote safer streets as they do pocketing more revenues... gotta have one these days and i ain't kiddin neither...

still helps to have the radar.
Now days "ticketing system" is designed to bring profit and not to make streets safer. So you have to be well equipped in order to not become a victim of that system.
Even speed cameras are positioned in such a way that they catch people in a higher speed zone than the one they are enforcing. Such are school zone speed cameras locally. They position them at the edge of the speed zone, looking over a higher speed zone, but still send you a ticket for going over the speed limit when in fact you were traveling legally within the zone you were in at a time.
So with radars it helps to know where those things are and when you are out of their beam.

yeah my 9500ix is a ****ing beast.
red light cameras and speed cameras are all mapped out on it via GPS. It does an incredible job with radar, too
Here's the way I look at it. When you buy a radar detector, you basically buy your first speeding ticket. You shouldn't get one after you invest.
Oh P.S., i have this mount, and it's amazing. You should look into it. Then I have the invisicord running from the detector to my rear view mirror for power. Super clean.
