G coupe smoking pretty bad

Hey whats up guys...i have an 03 G coupe....recently its been smoking pretty bad every time i start it up....tried taking it to my mechanic but the smoke went away by the time i got there...at first i thought it was no big deal, probably just the cold start up just like everyone else's car...but its not the regular start up smoke you see on cold days...its about 80 degrees out right now just washed it so i took a video of how bad its smoking...the smoke smells really bad too

as far as exhaust mods go....everything is stock except for Megan V2 testpipes that ive had on for 6 months...never had smoking issues until recently (2 weeks).

Hoping its not bad... maybe someone here can see it through video....oh and no SEL either

Here is a video of when i first started the car (cold)...gets worse around 40 seconds

here is a video about 3 minutes later
http://youtu.be/vDO7XQBe8rg

after i drive it around the block for a mile its fine...

Looks like bad valve stem seals, have you done a compression check to make sure its not the rings?

Also check your coolant level and oil, its hard to tell by the vid the true color of the smoke, but if it smells bad, its most likely oil

if its not burning coolant then its burning oil. nothing else would cause the car to do that

Fact....if it was coolant there would be moisture dripping from the tail pipes. Smoke appears to be blue, needs to have a compression test to nail down the cause....won't be cheap regardless.

looks like my car when i had my art pipes on. pretty sure you're consuming oil. i lost 3 qts in 3000 miles.. if you put your regular cats back on, the smoke will go away... but you should def. check your dip stick to see if you're low on engine oil.

this is what my 07 coupe did when i took my cats off for test pipes showed how much oil i was consuming

measure the oil level after you put 1000 miles on this new oil
i assume your car is consuming a lot too, IF its a consumer u could need a short block unless you have been buying factory warranty last few years your SOL getting one free under the OC TSB

roughly how long have you ran with the test pipes? have you WOT when them on? are you tuned?

My car has about 123k miles on it now...bought it 8 months ago with 111k miles on it...no warranty.

I did one time have to add oil since i did not see any on the dipstick (about 1 month back)...so im pretty sure shes burning oil...

Test pipes have been on for the last 6k miles or so...im NOT tuned.

gotta keep an eye out on the oil for sure

also....today, no smoke at all...weird...gotta get the compression test soon, just been busy with classes so i have no time...

on a side note..thanks for all the input guys!
