That sounds like the fender liner rubbing against the tire! What does your G feel like going down the road, like you're on the ocean? Take your G to an independent brake/alignment shop in your area and ask them if you need shocks and explain the noise you're hearing. With 100K miles on OE shocks (maybe) that could easily be the cluprit....Gary

 

Hi Gary, thanks for the advice. I had the G in for a alignment two weeks ago. They said everything was fine. Other then a link on the rear sway that they tightened, they said it went well. The g holds perfectly straight if I am not holding the wheel. They never said anything about the shocks, maybe they never looked. How can I tell myself? I can put it up on blocks tomorrow. I can also go back there and ask what they think. Thanks

 

^If the shocks are bad, the car would feel very loose and it would sway a lot. Handling would obviously be worse.
