i have 1 floor jack 2 jack stands and my ramps that are about 8 inches high (jus enough to do an oil change comfortably but a bit difficult to get under and see the 100 bolts needed to removed the engine shield first lol

I assume you have a low profile jack? You should have the car level when doing the fluids.

Drive it up on the ramps jack up the rear and put jack stands under the rear. I wouldn't worry too much about it being level the tranny would be hard to fill if you are leaning to the passenger side but other wise go by the manual for volumes. Be sure when doing the trans to make sure you try to loosen the fill bolt before draining the trans fluid.

Something about paint missing off of the foot of the jack where the pinch welds hit it tell me that Harbor Freight wouldn't take it back...

how low is your car? and your car should be as level as possible so you can get all that nasty fluid out, and fill it up correctly... just buy 4 jack stands ffs, lol

You should be able to use your oem trunk jack to get it high enough to use a regular floor jack.

Otherwise, amazon sells low clearance ramps or you can make your own with wood.

All you need is two more jack stands, with your roll up you can easily get your jack under her....that's if you intend to DIY. Guess I'm lucky, I have friend that owns a shop with a lift which make life much easier....Gary

so majority of u guys with lowered cars have not been doing the fluid changes at home?

my cars not super low jus bout an inch but the ings front and sides is whats making it harder. i guess ima do wat someone suggested and drive up the ramp and jack up the rear (everyone jacking it up using the rear diff right?).

the oem jack doesnt work well even though the cars on the ramp i still cant jack up the side with the oem jack without putting pressure on the side skirts and it doesnt jack up very high anyway when the cars already on the ramp

naw i have a regular jack but a massive one that is strong and way above the weight limit. so i can lift and leave it there and do work. i was thinking about getting the low profile ones but i didnt wanna jack up the side rails where the jack points are . or should i be using some kind of adapter to prevent that?

with the jack i have im able to squeeze it in between the front bumper and tire while the cars on the ramps and jus jack up the entire front up

idk how im gonna do the coolant tho. cut the front will have to be jacked up to even get to the drain plug and the car wont be level at all. then theres the lip that might be in the way of the fluid draining. i havent gotten a good look yet but thats wat im assuming is going to happen

For the front I use the side points, my jack has a small lift point so I can get it set without touching the OEM side skirts. For the rear I usually just use the diff. Most military bases have lifts available which is what I always use, still need to jack the car up to get a 4-point under it though.

Despite how strong a jack is there's always a small chance of it failing so I wouldn't use one as a jack stand. You could jack up a certain section and use wood/blocks under the tires, then repeat until all 4 wheels are off the ground.

^i jack it up and leave it there but i also leave my ramps underneath the tires to be safe. its jus nice to have a strong jack that takes a few pumps to get the car off the ground
