I don't know why you would be sad about it being totalled. I wouldn't want them to try and fix all of that damage. The car would pretty much never be the same ever.

Yeah, I checked every detail of it and it still open and closes as smoothly like before. And I'll keep an eye on that, hopefully I can go soon to the junker since every damn day it's raining in my area and the junker is a little far from me, and the university isn't helping neither.

Damn fam glad that it didn't happen, I wouldn't wish that to anybody. And it probably was a puddle and/or some dirt since the highway is brand new, they probably opened it like a week or two ago.

I have no other option, repair it and hope it rides well or repair it and then sell it.

And man be safe, don't speed especially when it's raining. Them consequences are not worth it :/

I will keep updated the thread, hopefully between tomorrow and saturday I'll have done something.

I also took another ride on it, it doesn't do sideway on a straight line but idk if it's me... but it kinda feels JUST A LITTLE BIT different. Like I said could be me since riding everything seems fine and doesn't have any strange noises yet.

damn dude that sucks, twilight blue coupe down! glad you're alright though. you definitely have some work to put in.
i came across this thread once- i know it isn't a g35 but it will give you an idea of what's involved with replacing a quarter panel: http://zilvia.net/f/s-chassis/388007...placement.html

also, you should send me that wing off your trunk

Damn, September was rough on Twilight Blue coupes. I wrecked mine on the 4th when I hit an oil slick and destroyed the front, insurance wrote it off and payed me out. Too bad I didn't read about your wreck sooner, the rear is fine on my car and the salvage resale is only $3000 for the whole car.

Good to see you made it out of your wreck ok like I did, such a shame about our beautiful Blue cars.

Today is also rainy so I couldn't go to the body shop but I'll see when I can to get the quote but seems like your right, the best way to go is to go to a junker and get the quarter panel myself. And yes, Seems like it's not THAT bad, even tho it's really bad but could've been worse. And damn that sucks man, car accidents in general suck. But I'm glad that got it repaired now, looks good! Thanks for the advice fam.

lol they were already painted like that when I bought it
You should try to pull it out as much as you can then start working the sheet metal. If you don't care about extensive body work you can probably have the quarter done by an experienced body shop. I worse comes to worse. fortune body kit
