Hey guys
Currently in the garages working on dissabling the ac for fall. I pulled the 2 cab fuses to stop the blower but can I unplug anything to stop the compressor too? Im new to this CAR but not cars . I do car sound systems all the time so I also figured Ill try wiring an AUX plug straight to the radio harness bypassing the head unit but using factory bose amp... Any input is greatly valued..

 

There is a fuse for the ac compressor under the hood.. Can't remember if it's in one of the obvious fuse boxes or the "IPDM/ER" which is located next to the battery.
USA spec sells a box that overrides the sat radio that has a aux input and makes the factory radio think its a cd changer. I don't believe they are all that expensive either..

 

just curious why disable the AC? As opposed to just not using it?

 

you need to look for an isimple or PAC aai ipod/AUX converters that you plug into the rear of the radio to bypass the satellite radio option. They are about 75 bucks on ebay/amazon if your'e lucky.

Since the stock radio doesnt work. My AC is stuck at 75 auto. The 2 fuses in the cab stops the blowers and one under the hood for cond. POOR MAN FIX
