Should I get a G35 ?

So I have around $15,000 and I'm looking to buying another car after my car was involved in an accident. Anyways, I have my eyes set on Infiniti's G35 coupe and Acura CL. I've spoke to some people about this and they told me this:

Get G35 if I want to stunt. Get a CL if I want to save. So I said what if I want to stunt AND save? Then should I get a used G35?

So now my question is, with $15,000 (of course I am not going to blow it all on the purchase), would it be wise to get that luxury G35?

I don't know how reliable G35's are and how much maintenance costs will be but I do know they take premium gas..

I am also a part time worker / college student.

What do you guys think? Could I afford the costs after the purchase of a used G35?

I am willing pay up to $11-12,000.

You come to a G35 forum to ask if you should buy a G35.... Care for an unbiased opinion?

G35's arnt inheriently expensive to own just remember the saying "Take care of the little things and the big things take care of themselves"

Youll be able to get a nice G for $12-$15k just dont be stupid.
Check history, do your due diligence.

I'd figure you guys being owners of G35 would be more honest and will know what you're talking about compared to other people.

Stunt? Like jumping it? Running off a ramp and driving on two wheels? Off--roading? J-Turns? Reverse Turns?

Definitely go for the g35. The one you posted seems to be in good condition.

Heres a pic of my friends cl, so far hes put almost 10k into it. Not worth it imo.

Who wasn't being serious? you said "stunt" not "build a show car". There is a great aftermarket industry for both show and performance on the G35.

If you want a nice luxury car i would get G35, i wouldn't get Acura unless you trying to save money on gas.

Actually.... if you have $10k to throw around and you want something that you can "stunt" in and destroy 90% of **** on the road including some bikes (Stock 600's) then look into a Stage 3 Audi S4.. a B5 (1999-2001.5)

My 06 G35 ran fine on regular 87 octane. All 171796 miles until I traded it in on Aug 31st 2012

i only have 3 issues that bug me but i dont care cause i love my G35, eats gas like a ****, motor for locks and windows go out.

if you do buy a g35, try to buy an 06 and up, cause you get the upgraded headlights and taillights,
