The guns are ok...but those high capacity belts need to do.

Send me some .223...my stash is running low.

I guess I should sign on here...I'm 69y/o...bought my '06 G35(AX6Coupe/6MT/RAS) 3-9-19, and it shares drive time with my '01 MR2 Spyder. Too many mistakes in the previous years to really retire, but I enjoy my life.

Enjoy!!!

Was 53 when I purchased the G, now at 68, still drive it like I stole it. After all these years, every time I get in the G, it's like stepping back in the past wild driving days. It's my fountain of youth. Will drive it until one of us dies!

Now I'm not quite as old as you guys but I just need to throw out a shoutout to the "old guy" who set me on the path.

I was a 14 year old kid with a broken '82 toyota pickup that was donated to me by one of my dad's gearhead friends. I had worked on small engine stuff and grew up idolizing all the pro street big block chevy stuff dad's friends worked on in the 80's but had barely any experience working on a REAL motor and the bazillion vacuum lines on those toyota's had me completely overwhelmed and I was too embarrassed to ask them for help.

My neighbor, a GREAT guy named Mike, with a mustang, came over and asked if I needed help with the carburetor I was trying (and failing) to rebuild. I had installed/uninstalled the thing about 3 times at that point but couldn't get the truck to run, turned out to be a broken timing chain and over the next month he offered all the advice and even a new chain, explained exactly the how's and why's of each vacuum line as well as all the differences between the bike engines I was used to and the 4 strokes that powered automobiles.

He was a great "old man" even though he was probably only late 40's at the time. Everything I do to help folks with cars is just passing along what he did for me.

Smells of nostalgia and slight hint of cologne in here.
