I agree, but there's much more content / information over there, particularly when it comes to performance and maintenance topics (build threads, new performance product annoucements, DIYs, etc.). We're thankful that some users choose to replicate those threads here.

The G35 FB page is a freaking joke. It is nothing but high schoolers showing off their sh*t ebay mods and plastidiped wheels. There is enough pathetic prepubesent circle jerking going on to rival that of a Pokemon event. The only "technical" thing that has ever been discussed on the FB page is when kids claim their G35 is "technically" a Skyline, then continue to circle jerk each other some more.

my experience has been every time I search for a problem, issue, dyi, how to do something, my350z always comes up short on found threads for some reason vs g35driver.

100% agree. Sifting through uploaded cell phone pics of "modded cuz debadged" and "murdered out" Gs rarely leads to anything useful or informative.

The only posts i get happy to read these days are when someone buys a G35 and decides to engine-swap it.

LSx powered 6-spd G35 coupes are fun.....

Some guy was even putting a Supra motor in his coupe.

Those threads are far and few between unfortunately.

I got a PM oneday from someone telling me to get off this forum and join the FB group. I looked in the group and was horrified. If it wasnt for the name of the group I coulda swore I was in a honda group. At least the V36 group filters out the stupid and flames the ricers. But I m not gonna lie AmateuRN's trolling his rainbow wheels was pretty funny

There is only one good thing about the FB page. You can hover your mouse over the stupid person making the comment and see their Education and Job. (Majority have no education, so really just job)

"Manager at Little Cesears, Making Bank at Publix, My Own Bo$$, Doggy Style Doin Ur Mom, Bagger Dicks Sporting Goods, Starbucks, Highschool, Highschool, Highschool"

Bascially nothing more than kids, living at home, working min wage jobs and spending everything on their 10 year old car.

I never doubted it lmao For the most part, those groups are @sshats. The local G35 FB group isnt much different....I personally think its 10x worse.

damn, why does everyone get so upset when these cars become affordable to the younger generation. It's going to happen to almost any car really. And it has to be worse on the BMW side of things for sure. I bought mine recently and its 10 years old.... I had to brand new cars before this.. I am enjoying now, what I drooled over in high school. lol now because they are cheaper, instead of having one.... I can have them all!

Has nothing to do with age. But it just so happens most teenage people buying the car now have very limited funds (ie ebay mods and sh*t quality parts) and have very limited maturity (ie "you mad bro" reply when anyone does not like aforementioned sh*t parts).
