How to not turn your G into a rice rocket.

How to not turn your G into a rice rocket.
I can't find anything like this on the forum, so here goes nothing.
Maybe we could compile a list of things NOT to do so people don't have to spend hours on here finding out what belongs on a Civic, and what belongs on their G.
The 10 Commandments of G35Driver
1. Thou shall not buy crap cast wheels. If your rubber tire cost more than your metal rim, you fcked up.
2. Thou shall not Plastidip. For the love of god, put the can down and paint/powder it properly.
3. Thou shall not install poor fitting body kits. Spend the extra for authentic or find a good bodyshop that doesnt use wood screws to attach a kit.
4. Thou shall not call your car something it is not. If your registation and title say G35, you own a G35, not a Skyline.
5. Thou shall not hella flush. This isnt mexico, your rims should not stick out past your fenders. If you want wider rims, get a wider body.
6. Thou shall not race other G35s. You have the same damn car. Your intake/exhausts are not going to make a difference.
7. Thou shall not cover thy car in skickers. Unless they company is paying you, stickers are just plain rice.
8. Thou shall only use OEM lights. OEM projectors cost more than ebay crap for a reason. Dont buy ebay lights.
9. Thou shall not over slam. Yes a drop looks good, but if you ever have to stop in a parking lot and back up to avoid a speed bump, you are probably too low. Your car is a daily driver, not a track car.
10. Thou shall not ask for advice thou is not ready to recieve. Nothing makes you more of a ricer than posting pics of your POS, asking for comments, then calling anyone a "hater" that doesnt like your **** mods.
I'll start by listing a few things that shouldn't be done to a G that I've learned from both posting on here and common sense..
1. Brake caliper covers (Plastic, metal, paint)
2. Aftermarket headlights
3. Plasti Dip (Stay on those Civics..)
4. Exhausts that could consume a small child
5. Vinyl wrap (this appears to be debatable. responses will determine if it stays or goes)
UPDATE - 4/10/14
6. Imitating speed racer from stoplight to stoplight
7. Buying the cheapest knock off parts imaginable
8. JDM Decals/stickers
9. GT-R lights
10. Body kits (ALL body kits or just GT-R body kits?)
11. NO DONKS
12. No two-tone body parts (Ex. if your car is red it should be all red, no black hood/trunk.)
13. Stick on hood scoops
14. Fake air vents
15. Excessive amount of negative camber
16. No lambo (Personally I feel like this is rice but I'll add it anyway, let me know if it should stay)
17. Big *** spoilers
18. Neon lights
19. No chrome tail lights
Feel free to add to it and I'll edit the original post once every few days.
Special thanks to WhosUrBuddiee for posting the commandments list, I hope you don't mind that I added it into the original post.
