FYI, Summit Racing Rotors on sale for $12.50

Hey guys, figured I'd let you know, summit has a pretty big sale on front rotors for the G35.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/xyz-prt5362/overview/

I just bought a set to replace my advance auto rotors that lasted just 2 (about 25,000 miles) years before becoming warped. I bought a set of Hawk pads to go with the rotors and did a proper bedding process and they seem to be much nicer pads than whatever I had on there before.

Anyway, I don't have much info on how long these rotors will hold up yet. Summit generally makes good quality parts though. They came painted already, which is nice.

You're telling me I spent almost $500 (pads included) to get some Hitachi OEM rotors when these bad boys are around for only $30, now $12...

Are these any good?

Edit: Just placed my order. For $34.95 shipped I will take a chance and hope they are decent.

Thanks for the link!

Double check that stuff guys. I dont think its for the G35.

1. This most likely is a bendix branded rotor (great brand) just rebadged as summit. This is based off part number search.

Amazon.com: Bendix PRT5362 Brake Rotor: Automotive Amazon.com: Bendix PRT5362 Brake Rotor: Automotive

Rockauto shows the same, its listed for the I35 and maxima.

2. These are for our early 1st gen sedans.

Might work, might not work. Small gamble. There is too many brake options for a G35, that many places dont know how to classify. You have couple brembos, then you have 06 dual pistons and normal standard single piston non-brembos.

I get my cheapest Centric C-teks front rotors for $60 shipped from rockauto or amazon.

The summit racing website says it will fit my car. If that turns out to be false then I will send them back.

I did cross reference the OD with a few other brands, and it seems fine. I didn't double check thickness before ordering. I did install them last weekend though, and they have been fine since.

I should probably note, my experience with the advance auto rotors might have been entirely my fault. I have a trailer I tow my motorcycle on sometimes, probably 850lbs at most, so hardly more than carry three large passengers. And the area I live in is very hilly. These two things might have cooked the rotors. The pads had more than half their life left, however the rotors were shot. The pads were older too. I have no idea what brand though (previous owners install).
