Goodbye Infiniti!
Since the world has shifted towards tiptronic and manumatic transmissions. A true manual transmission is a thing of the past (or so it seems). I love my 05 6mt why, because it is a full manual transmission and in a few years, maybe longer...much longer the true auto enthusiasts will long for them again. Yes, I agree Infiniti has to do something to bring the luster back into its automotive line up and hopefully the Q60 will fit the bill but, seeing as it doesn't come with a full manual transmission I doubt it. Their are a few cars that might out shine the G coupe or sedan in the performance department but, none have their beauty and luster. My remedy for this is the right performance mods and problem solved. Also, even if a Camry can keep up or outrun my G it's still ho hum and mundane and far from a chick magnet. The G at 10 years young can still bring home the honeys and with the right mods can outrun cars costing a lot more. In a few years or less I'll be adding a sedan to my automotive lineup (maserati quattroporte here I come) but, my G WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME. As the world scrams for the next big thing I tend to hold on to the very best things. Long live the G.

This has to be one of the best quotes I've read in a long time
They also cry about $$$ and take their cars to Nissan instead for service. The market isn't geared toward these penny pinching ricers.
The money isn't in the enthusiast market. These fuke3rs change their own damn oil, do their own damn maintenance, and when their car have issues due to their mods, they come crying to the dealership demanding a new car. F3k them.

. This is how my car performs from my self installed mods...
. This is how I feel regarding all the money I save...
. This is how I feel when stealerships send me their so called coupons...

I'm now in the same boat, my 2005 sedan now has 120K miles. I am thinking of either a 2012/2013 G37, or go completely off the reservation and to the Lexus, or even an Acura TL/X or ?? BMW service is abysmal in San Diego, so that's just not happening. Mercedes maintenance is $$$.
If you had to replace your G today, with a fun daily driver, what would you pick?

Well. Well. Well. Look who's driving a new Q50! Dealer offered to buy out my G25 lease and replace it with a new, fully optioned Q50 AWD Limited (19" wheels, Nav, Bose, spoiler) with Deluxe Touring and Tech Package. After dealer incentives, loyalty, etc I actually pay less per month than the G25x Sport. An offer I couldn't refuse.
Yes the DAS took some time to get used to but I am getting used to it understanding that I don't HAVE to make corrections. I am actually starting to enjoy it.
My wife does like all the safety features that come with the Tech package.

Well I made the leap this weekend and ordered a BMW M4.
I guess I have to thank Infiniti for not making the new coupe with a manual, it forced me to buy one of my long time dream cars.
Now the agonizing 2 month wait for it to be built & shipped from Munich.
