a/t cheak blinking

My G was driving fine until I made a left turn an felt like it was not getting power. I felt like it was moving slow like starting from a high gear. So i turned off my car an turn it back on an the a/t cheak started blinking for about 10 seconds. Then it went off and did the same thing, so I Turned it off again and left it off for about 2 hours. When I turn it back on it ran good like nothing happened. What could be the issue.? Electrical or something else
