Thinking about another G
Thinking about another G
I have been out of the game for a while with G's. I sold my when I had my daughter 3yrs ago and now I'm thinking about getting one to mod the HECK out of it!! Should I or should I not.........................
Wait til the new Q60 comes out
It will be hopefully the fastest G/Q to date. Not including the Eau Rouge, which i dont know if it's ever going to be released.
Although if you dont want brand new, what kind of mods you looking into?
If you want more GO than show. A G37 would be your best bet.
For show, it's all personal taste.

looking to build into a fun weekend toy for me and my boys. i loved my original 05 Sport so i thought about seeking out another. i don't NEED 4doors any more so a coupe is not out of the equation at this point.
as far as mods go, i'm looking to have a "solid" true 300hp car that i can drive daily if i choose to do so.
it PROBABLY will be used at the local track for road course racing.

What's to contemplate, you already know how great these cars are, you know their weak points and how to fix them, you know the shape is timeless, you know that with a few mods the car performs better and gives years of satisfaction. Just pull the trigger and teach your boys the joy of modding a car. Years later they'll thank you for it.
Get it, man. Easily the best modern classic you can hope for.
Looks cool, fun to drive, decent sized aftermarket. Other options are 1994 and up vettes (stay away from obdI cars), except then you trade a little practicality for a little more power. If you just want a reliable toy that could also be a DD, AND be able to customize its a great car for that..

94-96 vette is sexy as ****. Get a white one with red interior..damn..so sexy. The vettes went obdII early (94) too, so can't go wrong with those 3 years. Questions would lie in your want/need of available seating. Two seats is more like a car for when your kids move out.
I've been thinking about a 95 vette zr1 for fun, But then again, I have no kids and or wife as of now. (LOL). But a 6mt G35 would be the most obvious option, unless you want too spend some $$ and get a decent mid 90s 240sx, or even 300zx TT. But good luck finding one of those two that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg....
I actually went to a little car lot to buy a 95 white vette with red interior. Saw it off the side of the road, flipped a u turn to go buy it (hella spontanious cuz i wanted that exact car since i was a teenager); anyway, 85k miles, 6spd, targa top..awesome condition. Only thing was I was trying to get away from a two seater. The G was parked right next to it. The rest is history.
Thanks for ALL of the input guys. If you search my "sold thread", I'm pretty meticulous about my cars and this one will be NO different. Leaning towards the coupe this time out because that back side is so sexy and I can fit a wider tire for traction on it vs a sedan.
White sedan with black interior FTW!!!
