It really really depends on the insurance company.

Saywat is correct. Infiniti charges $1000 for a headlight, you think a wheel wouldn't be $950? I can't imagine a situation where my wheel was in mint condition and the insurance wants to give me a refurbished unit. I would drop them like a bad habit.
I have State Farm and went to a top of the line body shop. the fact of the matter is my car is 10 years old. if I get into an accident and say I damaged my right front strut and wheel, the insurance company isn't going to pay 2k to replace it with brand new oem parts when my other wheels and suspension are 10 years old. now I did get a lot of my parts replaced by brand new oem parts but the wheels were able to be fixed. and let's not forget if the quote exceeds your cars worth then it's declared a total loss end of story. you think an insurance company is going to pay you 4k to replace 4 wheels on your car that has 120k miles and is worth 7k at most? lmao cmon man

My car was 15yrs old at the time, worth nothing, and had 150k miles. 89 camaro in 2004.

Again... completely depends on the insurance company. I had an accident in my 04 G35 (worth about 14-15k kbb at the time) and USAA gave me nearly 20k with my mods and wheels.
