Hi everyone I just purchased my first Skyline and i just joined this site and i was hoping i could get some advice from you long term members.

I have a few questions, because its stock from japan the audio visual, sat nav and some buttons on the centre console is in Japanese is there a way to change the sat nav to English, can the whole with be replaced with a standard head unit but still have the little monitor work as a screen to play dvd movies or have the whole thing converted to be able to use it in Australia. it came with a standard key, when i unlock it all the doors and boot unlock does this mean it has a fob key keyless entry that i can buy and reprogramme it?

can anyone suggest any mods i should or can do to make it more cool than it already is lol? I'm intending to get it dark tinted and a better air filter and fix/ replace the audio visuals.

Sorry i edited my thread and i cannot seem to see anything anymore. its a nissan skyline 300GT 2001 sedan model. in the states you call them infinity G35 sedan, Japan its a Nissan V35 sedan but essentially all the same car. i got a japanese import and its stock standard, no manuals so i was asking does this car come with a fob key? is there a way to convert the Sat Nav, TV, and extended the Japanese FM radio to pick up channels past 90MHZ. apart from the basic screen tint, replacing the Air filter, custom stereo and new exhaust in the near future is there anything else i should do.

 

Your vehicle can use this key. If if did not come with one, you can program it yourself.


If your vehicles has buttons on the front door handles (which I do not believe your model has), then you can use the intelligent key fob.
