I have a set of SF Winning wheels that I'm refinishing and I'm trying to decide on the color for the face. I was gonna go with silver, but then I saw some pics of a white car with white face VSXX wheels and it looked pretty clean. I'm wondering if I can pull it off with IP coupe because the car with VSXXs is just white, not pearl, so it flows well.

Would painting the faces IP look too matchy?
Maybe matte white or satin white, or would that would look weird with IP?

Gold centers on the SF Winnings look especially cool on a IP coupe! You could have the lips polished and the centers powder coated for a brand new look!

The centers are gold right now. I had the wheels on the car for a bit and I'm not sure gold is my style. It always looks good in pictures, but I think I might want something different.
I'm polishing the lips myself, it was a good excuse to buy a rotary polisher!

Love me some white face volks. Have you considered off colors like bronze or Gunmetal Grey either?

 

I took your advice Gary and kept the gold. The combo really grew on me over time. On the plus side, I haven't seen another IP coupe with gold wheels in my area so I claimed the territory.
