yea, wasn't feeling the color match. But most of the time when i see cars on the road with the black grills painted, i think they got into an accident and brought it to a cheap body shop that didn't tape over the grills and painted it over.... I see it alot down here...

that doesn't look right, i thought one of the reasons for getting a white car was to see the vents and grilles. that's why porsche gt2's look so good in white.

i got a platnum graphite.i was curious to see what it would look like.i dont think its that bad but i might just opt for chaging the front bumper to a sport front bumper.that or getting the nismo lip.but 700 for a lip is too much unless someone is interested in trading.but that might be a long shot

I really want to see someone cut out that fake mesh crap and put in real mesh. I think that would be the best look...maybe even better than the sport bumper. The fake plastic mesh is just horrible no matter what.

The only problem is the people with the intel cruise control. I would have to cut a hole into the mesh for that... Don't know what that would look like.
Hey, anyone with PS and some extra time on their hands... doctor some pics and post them please

I've been planning to cut mine out and create an insert with vents and driving lights made out of fiberglass. I think it will look awesome, I just need to find the time, plus it's 15 degree outside and about 30 inside my garage. Maybe in the Spring. The inserts will be color matched. I have a number of drawing in the design phase. I've seen similar things on many car included one M3 I photographed the other day. This should be a big upgrade over just leaving them as is or painting them.

PS: For the record one guy, I think in Qatar had posted photos of his black Journey who cut out the fake mesh and put in silver metal mesh. It looked ok at best, in my option.

humm... It's over 70 degrees over here, but i can't get myself to cut my grill unless i have something right away to place there. I was thinking about making a cut out for my fogs, b/c i have a set of piaa driving lights sitting around my house for over a year, that i never installed on anything.

I think the look would depend on the color and front-end (sport or journey) of the car.

Right, color will play a big factor in how it looks. We are only talking about the Journey by the way. The sport could rock either black or silver in any color and look nice. The Journey "inlets" are huge.

I picked up some fiberglass this weekend. I'll work on some new inlets soon and post some pic's once I'm finished.
