Red Strap In Backseat

Hey guys, so I’m having problems with Infiniti’s stupid *** ****ing fuel gauge and now I have to get my retarded fuel pump replaced. Now I’m taking it to the shop tomorrow but they’ll need to get the backseats open, which is where the issue is. I can’t fold down my seats through the lever in the trunk, it’s loose. And now I know that my only option is to pull on the red strap. The problem with that is that I can’t ****ing find the god damn red strap. I know where it’s supposed to be and I checked there (vigorously numerous times to a point where my face was just dripping with sweat from anger and frustration) so basically the grand question is, how the **** do I find that god damn red strap Bc I stuck my hands deep inside that bitch and couldn’t find it for jack ****. I seriously hate whoever engineered the stupid fuel pump and gauge in the 04 g35 coupe.

I tried that but it seems that there are clips holding it down and there’s no way I can remove them.

Just pull up pretty hard on the forward part of the seat. It should pop off.

No need to mess with the seat backs. Leave them alone, lift up hard under the left and right of the bottom seat and it'll pop free then you can just remove it from the car. Fuel pump's under the bottom portion of the seats. Don't make it harder than it has to be.
