I believe you'll heat the gears and clutches up like that. Even in neutral. Awd cars should be towed only by flatbed. If I can remember correctly. Hopefully someone else will chime in to confirm

As the former owner of a 2006 sedanX, I can confirm this is a very bad idea. Flatbed only. Owner's manual is very clear about this too.

Just remove the differential driveshafts and hang them up under the vehicle with tie wire. If you aren't spinning the transfer case and transmission you can pull tow them.
