Scratching my head

So recently I’ve been having issues with a “bog” or “hesitation”. In any gear my car will shutter and sputter on intensive throttle. I have no check engine light and have cleaned my throttle body and reprogrammed it as well. I’m so lost and have no idea where to start. It does smell like unburnt fuel but again I have no check engine light and have checked every vacuum line. Just very confused

Get a read out. sometimes codes get stored without initiating a CEL. Could be a throttle position sensor. gas pedal sensor or even cam sensors. If any of these need to be replaced, get genuine Nissan parts. Replacement aftermarket sensors do not do well in these engines.

Look under the dash, adjacent to the steering column, there should be an electrical plug with multiple pins in it. There is a tool called ODB reader that gets plugged into this plug and reads the codes stored into the car's computer. You can purchase one of these readers, or go to any of the auto parts stores like AutoZone and ask them to get you a reading of stored codes that may be in your car's computer. They provide the service for free.

That bog or hesitation sounds EXACTLY like a vacuum leak. Check your intake tube for any rips/cracks. Check the 3 pcv hoses to make sure they're tight on their fitting with no rips. Unscrew the PCV valve and make sure it rattles when you shake it.
