Yeah it seems like everyone has mentioned everything that annoys me about my G except this.

When i drive it i put my left hand on the top of the steering wheel (Gangsta Style) And after 40'000 miles the leather on the top of the steering wheel is rubbing off and has become kinda rough.

Has anybody else had this problem yet?

 

I DO! my wheel has become pretty bad and if u look from the back, the leather is all bad.. with white spots all over. Oh well, what can we do?

 

1. the rattles, my previous cars were an audi, a bimmer, and a toyota. the german cars were solid and i could never complain about any rattling in my car. i wish i could say that about the g and my old camry.

2. oem brake life sucks a$$. i can't believe the short life of our brakes (rotors and pads). i'm at almost 55,000 miles and i've probably changed them out three time already!

3. long wheel base (high centering on large speed bumps, steep driveways/parking lots, etc.). the g is probably the worst car to lower, because of this factor. i scrape/high center on things all the time. am i the only one with this problem? i drive in LA alot, and boy have i experienced alot of these problems.

 

Everyone pretty much said all the things that makes the G35 annoying...

1) Seat belt chokin the neck
2) Automatic seat taking too long to move back and forth
3) After a rainy day water falls into the car when you open the door
4) no memory seats
5) all the ***** are on the right side instead of the left
6) Takes forever to load my mp3 cd
7) rock chips on bumper!
8) small glove box
9) Cant use navi when the car is moving
10) cant fill up the gas tank all the way at 76 gas stations etc... stops at 3/4
11) Gas mileage is only 20mpg!
12) removal of the plastic covering to do an oil change is a PITA
13) worst is it feels slow and heavy

 

stinky a/c when it sits.

 

I hate that there is a million and a half of them in SoCal.

I don't like how my coupe passenger seat doesn't have the feature to go up and down automatically or manually. Does anyone know if you can replace the passenger seat with another driver seat?

 

seats, seat belts, cd player, air controls, i can go on allll day

 

I hate the lack of Torque and could use some more power.. Looks faster than what it really is... Other than that I love it..

 

I agree!!!! especially after I got mine... but I gues thats always the case after you get a car...

 

1. A/C stinkyness when i first start car after 2 days....
2. Leather seats cracking at 12k miles
3. Flywheel rattle
3. seats move too slow
4. no rear dome light
5. rear carpet mat folds when i move seat back
6. beige headliner
7. rear-view mirror rattle with music
8. gets foggy too quickly inside
9. very loud on inside while riding
10. soft paint
11. hood prop
12. No projectors
13. Rear bumper gets SO dirty QUICK!
14. rear fenders *love the wideness* but aerodynamics comes with the cost of scratches.
15. I hate how much i love this car *everytime i step out, take few steps look back and say to myself "damn im lucky "*

 

I dont understand why some people are saying its slow, its a sport luxary. I like my coupe speedwise. sure it could be faster but i mean for being stock its enough for what it is.

the main issues are the issues not me driving my car everyday but my brothers who drive it. they have cheaper cars and they complain about specific issues.


1) driver side seatbelt, enough said. remember the story about someone waiting in your back seat to choke you? that sums up seatbelt. It drives me insane

2) no memory seats. someone sits in the back seat you put your set back and wait like 30 minutes to get it back in its correct place.

3) everyone who drives my car says the same thing, they cant judge my passenger side. I even have issues after a year of having my coupe. Sometimes when i park i am not surprised if i am .5" or 12" from the curb. tilt mirrors/parking assistance would have been a nice option

not so important but would have been a great option
4) rear wiper! yea i know it will take some of the "sport" away but it would become very usefull.

with that being said i still believe our coupes are the best car you could get for the money hands down without a close second. Anyone who see's or drives my car loves it. I feel very lucky to be able to own the car of my dreams.

 

I would cry if they ever put a rear wiper on a G... It's not a hatchback, there's no need for one at all.

 

i hate that my arm isnt double jointed so i can grab my drink in the poorly designed cup holders lol
other than that, im in love!
