What I hate the most is that my car is almost 10 years old and I am finding it hard to talk myself into getting rid of it because there is literally nothing wrong and it runs perfectly and needs almost nothing in the way of maintenance.
So I took a better look at his car and discovered that the jerk/clunking noise only happens when the car is cold and goes away when the car is warm and has been driven for a bit. Which makes since the fluid isn't at operating temperature to lubricate effectively.

I did tell him to change the fluid since I will be changing my tranny fluid before winter as well since the cold weather will be even harder on the transmission especially with the constant tire slipping due to snow and ice.

He went to a shop to get that done the other day and the tech. told him that changing the fluid in the tranny would actually make the problem worse??

I figure there is no sense in keeping that dirty fluid in there as it will just get dirtier and dirtier over time and probably turn into sludge.

Now I'm kinda 50:50 about changing my tranny fluid lol.

From what I've heard its best to just drain and refill when it comes to trans fluids in manual cars..I could be wrong though

Just did a drain and fill on my 05(and from sayin p to r it sounds like a AT not manual). I bought 10 qt of s matic, drain the pan into a pitcher that has qt measurements on it (I got three out each time) refill what u get out let it idle in drive for a bit and repeat. Each time the fluid looks better and u don't totally get rid of the old fluid but it's said that a decent percentage is replaced. I'm now going to do this every third oil change. Flushes are not the best for our cars especially if u don't know the prior maintenance.

I dont hate it but I wish my 05 G35X had a sport mode like Audi has. When you shift the audi into sport mode its all performance! Even thought Infiniti just blows by 6cyl audi it would be nice to have a sport mode.

I dislike people trying to race me or blowing by me. Mostly Hondas and Acuras.

Annoying how water pools under the side mirrors and an endless bead of water keeps going no matter how many times you dry it off after a wash. Water gets trapped in the trunk seams as well.

If you **** inside them. it will get rid of the water.

Problem is, you will now have urine in your side mirrors.
