There's diys on it that don't even include buying a new motor??

Sometimes stuff can just be cleaned or greased or replace a sprocket (whatever the case may be). I always try to fix that stuff before going new. Which reminds me, I need to look at my scooter motor. Haha

Thereis a trick to that piece. if you remove it and the plastic under it, they snap together. thats what holds it flush.

also frankie you wouldn't have noticed a difference with z shocks. I dont think there is any lowering spring hard enough to make the g ride like crap.

I heard they ride stiffer, already have G shocks on the way so it's all good.. Lol

There is alot of confusion about the shock being shorter affecting especially the ride height and quality, but the valving may be different. Having a shorter strut rod only affects how much the suspension droops and possibly preload the spring a bit if I'm not mistaken.

I have Z blues and G-S techs. You would'nt feel the car is lowered if you rode in it.
