What do you hate about YOUR G35?

That is almost all better now
. I bought an 07 G35X. All problems have been resolved but the drink holders. I love this sweetheart

I used to have a civic with a Type R transmission. That thing revved to 3k @ 60mph in 5th, and at 4.3k @ 80mph in 5th.
You can't even begin to bitch about the rpms on a g35. It's not even that bad!
Do you really expect it to be under 3k? This is not some run of the mill grandma car.

1. The commotion when accelerating to redline, engine could be smoother. Seems mainly like flywheel chatter, but not sure.
2. Tranny/clutch setup - shifter fights me into gears sometimes and is very hard. The clutch pedal requires to much effort and the take up is too high. I wish I had the '05/'06 setup, it's so much smoother and softer. Driving the car smoothly is still a challenge after 3 yrs. Funny enough it even worse now after a new tranny recently.
3. Squeaks and rattles -First the pass seat was squeaking, now the driver's. The damn parcel shelf in the back rattles even at low volumes with that crappy @$$ Blose sub, and I've had it fixed twice.
Despite all that I still love my car and would buy again. Next time I'm going wait for the mid-life update.

1) brake dust! biggest pain in the as s ever along with the squeaks
2) auto lights dont go on when its raining during the daytime even with wiper blades on ( it did on my benz)
3) soft paint
4) crappy in wet/ slick conditions even with new tires
5) interior rattles ( before and after system)
other than that i love the car but the only thing that worries me is the crappy traction in the rain. idk why but i slip ALOT in the rain! anyone else have this problem? my tires are fine and i even got new tires installed that were supposedly good for the rain and i barely see a difference. i thought the weight of the car would help it out but i guess im wrong
