If it were I'd probably beat on my car a hell of a lot more on a daily basis.
I like my interior. All black. Imo if you go double din w a nice headunit its perfect. Im not really an orange light guy but all I dislike about the interior. I have around 63k on mine and I have no rattles or anything.

PS: I do realize that getting subwoofers and loud exhaust will eventually cause rattling, etc., but I am just drawing from my experience of having a Lexus a while back with subwoofers and the interior didn't have rattles for years, while my *stock* coupe started rattling about 3 months afte purchase (bought brand new).

Personally it's hard for me to stick to the old style and I always move on to the newer one.
