I just cant see why its SO overhyped.
I liked the car, but didnt prefer it over a G sedan.

The problem with the ac control is when I go to the track, I want to turn the a/c off but keep the fan on. Every time I press the button the a.c goes on. I brought it to the dealer and the technicians cant figure the problem out. It may just be my g35 though.
Anyways I dont know why you laugh, I was just anwsering to the OP. Also if I wanted a pure sports car I would have went with the 350z and save myself a couple thousand bucks. The g35 offered more luxury while keeping it a performance car. I wouldnt call is a "sports car" I would more likely call it a entry level luxury performance car.
Anyways... I enjoy the ride more then I did with my old 3-series bimmer, the interior is far better i.m.o. and the performance is a big +.

I love the car, but those just touch on the things that I did not like, altough I dont mind it. Though most of the points dont point out I want lux... I went to a closed track a few weeks ago in florida, and I got a flat. I tried to use the stock jack, but I swear when I lifted the car I could literally see the jack start to twist and bend. I lowered it and used my friends jack from his porsche. So what if the G is a performance/ entry level car, they should include safer jacks. Its the same with most nissans I think, my friend has a maxima that his jack failed on him.

Also, you're right that most of us are here because we wanted more luxury than a traditional sports car (350Z) would offer while still retaining respectable performance.
Luckily I haven't had any experience with the jack - if I ever have the need to use it, I'll now know to use extra caution.
1. Keyless remote sounds the horn rather than the quiter chirp of a Lexus or Acura.
2. Door dings
3. Scraped up back bumper
4. Dealer charged me an arm and a leg for 30K mile maintenance so I can't afford to fix 2. and 3. now!
