My 04 seat goes back, as long as u use the back handle , and put it back in the original position, it still moves back.

As for complaints, rattles are the worst, heaviness especially around sharp turns, and constantly worrying abt where to park it in order to keep the soft paint safe.

 

The seatbelt chokes me. Everything else is FABULOUS.

The car is three months old and the glove box has to be replaced. It has never closed right and has caused the glove box light to burn out.

The radio might have to be replaced. The seek button gets stuck if you use it.

Starting to get rattles.

the thing i dont get is that why does everyone think 50/50 is the best or most balanced? sure it "sounds" balanced, but have u ever add in the weight of the driver? with the driver, its not 50/50 no more. its more of a selling gimic than for true ultimate handling.

all true sports cars are NOT balanced in 50/50. most, if not all, are rear biased.

i think the G is weighted alright as for balance, however, the it sure is a heavey pig.... thats the price u pay when you have a car that shares the platform base with all the other family sedans and suvs.

 

I cant stand how my G attracts so many damn women. It gets overwhelming

how much does it cost to repaint the whole car? like painting it a very uniq color (ferrari yellow?? ). i mean, with a good paintjob ..strong durable paints. sorry, dont no much bout paints and whatnot!

 

You can't find easy horsepower because Nissan already did well making the car. The reason other cars get massive horsepower from simple mods is because the stock parts are not designed well and the aftermarket ones are significant improvements. You can't expect to get much more cheaply out of a V6 making this much horsepower.

 

That's weird- the glove box light stays on all the time whenever the headlights are on.

 

Soft paint
Rear bumper cover easily damaged- one little bump practically requires a totally new bumper cover
Backwards headlight switch
Blose stereo is crap (will be totally replaced in my G soon)
Oil dipstick from hell
Worry about power windows dying
No other complaints here- zero rattles at 10,000 miles

 

It's going to vary from shop to shop but if it's done right, I can't see it being done for less than a couple grand.

 

I think I've seen some posts about good paint jobs costing closer to $5000....either way....its certainly not a cheap mod

 

One of the top noch body shops out here in CA who's recommended by BMW, Jaguar, Infiniti and only accepts well known insurance companys quoted me 6k to repaint my 00' accord. So you figure that's the ballpark price.
