Simsimi: 1. Agreed, absolutely, earlier member mentions the towels used - I've used nothing but shammy cloths to dry. It's the paint job [see other complaints].
2. rattles can be addressed - take it to the dealer. They fixed mine.
3. speed/screen lock??
4. seats- agreed for long trips, but hey it's a Sport Performance Sedan.
5. seatbelt. I don't have a provblem with it, although the retraction seems to be similar to my other cars. I guess it could be a bit stronger.
6. space - agreed.
7. Auto tranny?? - Take it to the dealer. Mine had a very hard upshift into 3rd gear in manual mode mostly. It was geting a bit worse this winter. Also had TSB 028 applied last year (affected the overly touchy throttle and gear shifting to some extent). But recent visit and test drive with tech revealed a faulty tranny Valve body. Was replaced and now it's much better - much smoother shift into and out of 3rd gear.

I would like to see a digital clock on the LCD screen as well as the analog one [which is difficult to read]
I don't like how the LCD screen does NOT adjust to lighting conditions automatically and how the cols weather affects so.

 

First off, I want to say that I LOVE MY CAR.

ok, now to the hate:

1st: Can't use dash or console to control IPOD when connected with AV cables. Should've bought with premium package, but it's so expensive.

2nd: Rear seats don't fold down. C'mon, the new Accord sedan does.

3rd: Glove compartment way too small.

4th: Doors are definately on the heavy side.

5th: Is it me, or does my in-cabin fan and ventilation system have a mind of its own?

But yeah, I LOVE MY CAR.

the cd's skip when its 40 or below! which is 5 months out of the year here

 

I love my G, but here so far are my few gripes.

1. light window rattle in when closing doors, fixed it with TSB but still very slight.
2. mpgs (depending on how much you punch it -the gas)
3. horrible bluetooth reception and sound quality at times
4. cds skipping intermittently when weather is cold(er)
5. heavy doors
edit -my main one below-
6. the seatbelt clasp thingy support stuff, horrible, it always slips out of position or causes the belt to fold.
7. seatbelt thing ALWAYS hits the door or something of the sort whenever I undo it and am getting out of the car. what the heck.

those are my main gripes, but all in all I still love my G35 very much.

 

My car is hot but there are a couple of things I don't like.

1. must unlock the door in order to exit vehicle. Can't just pull the handle. I'm inside the car for pete's sake.
2. seatbelt doesn't have one of those thingys that you can pulled down to set the lower belt section so that it's not pressing on your bladder. "my wife’s X3 has it".

 

Got my CD player replaced under warranty for that. If you're still under warranty, or you have an extended, you may want to look into it.

1. Stupid Nissan and Infiniti to NOT put auto door locks on the car when put into gear or after 15mph.
2. Not enough room for my right foot to lay on the floor near gas pedal.

I seem to jerk the g35 sometimes lol not sure why yet, just became an owner recently...
I don't like the gas mileage either, but then again I previously owned an rsx so maybe it's something to get used to.
Either than those things, I just HATE that I love my G35 - damnn flies in my wallet

 

i hate the fact that it costs soooo much just to add little things to your car to make it look good, and i really hate the fact the it cost even more to make it go faster

then i really really hate the fact that it costs more to install certian performance parts then the actual cost of the part!


but, she is worth every friggen god damn penny that i have ever owned! lol

 

i hate that if you drop something between the seats its a PITA to get, I have big hands and when my cell phone or anything falls between the seats my hands come out blood soaked. Faster auto seats or hell just give me the old fashioned handle, sun roof is slow, and I wish it had more HP/TQ well atleast 2 be able to keep up with the other rides out there stang gt, charger/mag rt, sti, and evo's I mean it has damn near the same hp well atleast the MT do I have an auto and I got walked on by a gt it's a sad feeling when you know your ride looks better than the next guy, but at the same time if sh*& where 2 hit the fan they could blow ur doors off. Thats about all my bi^7hin
